About Greenslade Pre-School
Greenslade Pre-School was started in 1972 by the Parent Teacher Association of Greenslade Infant School, Nailsea and is situated within the grounds of Kingshill Church School.
Through the efforts of the founder members many children have enjoyed the benefit of coming to Greenslade Pre-School which is one of the few Pre-Schools in England to have it’s own purpose built building.
At Greenslade Pre-School we recognise that all children are individuals with their own dispositions to learn in different ways and at different rates. Each child is allocated a key worker.
The keyworkers have responsibilities for a small group of children ensuring they access maximum opportunities whilst in preschool and helping them to reach their developmental goals. Keyworkers are also a point of contact for parents and carers to build relationships. All staff work closely as a team and all adults will be involved with all children and parents.
We recognise the importance of being outside as much as possible, a view supported by Ofsted. We are lucky to have an extensive outside play area which children can access throughout the sessions.
