The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a stage of children’s development from birth to the end of their first (Reception) year in school. It is based on four important principles: A Unique Child; Positive Relationships; Enabling Environments; Learning and Development. Each principle is supported by four commitments that describe how the principles can be put into practice. Information regarding daily activities can be found in the parents’ area and on the white board within the school.
We cater for children aged 2 3/4 to 4 years old.
We also offer a summer play-scheme which provides children with organised activities within the summer holiday (numbers permitted). Parents or carers may sign up for this service after the Easter holidays. The structure is based upon the Early Years Foundation Stage.
