Greenslade Preschool are recruiting!


Greenslade Preschool is recruiting a new Preschool Leader! We are a term-time-only setting based in Nailsea. We currently have 34 children on our register aged between two and four years. We have nine members of staff in our friendly team, all part-time, with four staff members working together each day in a single open-plan area.


We are passionate about working with children and making their time with us educational and fun! We have our own building and two fantastic outside play areas. We are a Committee-run preschool with Charity status.

Preschool Leader with SENCO responsibility


  • Tuesday 7.45am-3.45pm, Thursday 7.45am-5.30pm, Friday 7.45am-3.45pm
  • In addition, you will be expected to attend staff meetings, in-service days and additional hours
  • The successful candidate will be working with children as a key-person and member of the team, as well as supervising staff
  • We offer a competitive hourly rate plus holiday pay and non-contact time
  • The salary spread across 52 weeks of year
  • An Enhanced DBS is required.

Level 3 Childcare Practitioner


  • Tuesday 8.45am-5.30pm Friday 8.45am-3.15pm (some flexibility for the right candidate)
  • In addition you will be expected to attend staff meetings, in service days and there is the opportunity for cover on an ad-hoc basis
  • Term time only
  • £10.42 an hour (rate to increase on April 1st) plus holiday pay and non contact time
  • Level 3 or working towards Level 3 
  • The salary spread across 52 weeks of year
  • An enhanced DBS is required
