We are one of the few Pre-Schools in England to have it’s own purpose built building.

We recognise that all children are individuals with their own dispositions to learn in different ways and at different rates.
OUR KEYWORKERS

Keyworkers have responsibilities for a small group of children ensuring they access maximum opportunities whilst in preschool and helping them to reach their developmental goals.
EARLY MORNINGS / LATE AFTERNOONS

We offer an 8.30am start time and late afternoon sessions until 5.30pm.

About Greenslade Pre-School

Greenslade Pre-school was started in 1972 and is a Committee run pre-school with charitable status. We are lucky enough to have our own building with fantastic outside space.


At Greenslade we provide a stimulating learning environment to encourage the children to become competent learners who are resilient, independent, capable, confident and self assured. Each child is allocated a keyworker who will help them to reach their developmental goals but all staff work together to provide the highest level of support for all children and their parents.

Our sessions

We provide four sessions throughout the day. All sessions are subject to availability. The afternoon session includes lunch (not provided).

We charge a monthly Consumables fee of £40 per month as permitted by the Governments statutory guidance A1.32

Singing using Makaton

Staff and children sit together, sing songs with Makaton and the register is taken before children carry out roles eg handing out plates, fruit etc to all children sat with them. Makaton is used to support spoken language.
